WonderWallet – Your Secure Digital Wallet
Last updated: May 19, 2026Overview & Our Commitment
WonderWallet ("we", "our", or "us") is a secure digital wallet application designed to store your payment card data privately and safely on your device. We are deeply committed to protecting your personal information.
Our core privacy promise:
WonderWallet is built on a local-first architecture. Your card data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to our servers or any third party. You are always in full control.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how it is handled when you use WonderWallet on Android or iOS.
Data We Collect
We distinguish between two types of data:
Data Type Examples Where It's Stored
Card & Payment Data Card numbers, expiry dates, cardholder names, CVV (optional), card nicknames On-device only, encrypted
App Usage Data Crash reports, anonymised feature usage (opt-in only) Anonymised, no personal data
Device Data OS version, device model (for crash diagnostics) Anonymised only if analytics opted in
We do not collect your name, email, location, contacts, or any data unrelated to the wallet functionality unless you explicitly provide it.
Local Storage & On-Device Processing
WonderWallet is engineered as a local-first application. All card data you enter is:
- Stored exclusively on your device's secure storage
- Encrypted using AES-256 encryption at rest
- Protected behind your device's biometric authentication (Face ID, fingerprint) or PIN
- Never synced to any cloud service, external server, or third-party platform
- What this means for you: If you uninstall WonderWallet, all stored card data is permanently deleted from your device. We have no copy of your data and cannot recover it on your behalf.
How We Use Your Data
The limited data we process is used solely for:
- App functionality – displaying and managing your stored cards within the app
- Security – verifying biometric/PIN authentication before granting access
- Crash diagnostics – anonymised error reporting to improve app stability (opt-in)
- App improvements – anonymised, aggregated usage patterns (opt-in only)
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose beyond operating the app.
Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Period.
The only limited circumstances in which anonymised, non-personal data may be shared:- Crash Reporting Anonymised crash logs may be sent to a diagnostics provider (e.g. Firebase Crashlytics) if you opt in to analytics
- Legal Obligation If required by law or court order, we may disclose data — however, since card data is stored only on your device, we have no card data to disclose
Security Measures
WonderWallet employs multiple layers of security to protect your data:
- AES-256 Encryption – All card data is encrypted at rest on your device
Biometric Authentication – Face ID, Touch ID, or fingerprint required to access the app
- PIN Fallback – Secure PIN access when biometrics are unavailable
- Auto-Lock – App automatically locks after a configurable period of inactivity
- Screenshot Prevention – The app blocks screenshots and screen recordings of sensitive card data
- No Network Transmission – Card data is never sent over any network connection
- Your responsibility: Please ensure your device is protected with a strong PIN, password, or biometric lock. WonderWallet's security is most effective when combined with device-level protection.
Your Rights
Depending on your location (including under GDPR, Swiss nFADP, and CCPA), you may have the following rights:
- Right of Access – Request information about any data we hold about you
- Right to Erasure – Delete all your data at any time by uninstalling the app
- Right to Portability – Export your card data in a secure format via the app's export feature
- Right to Object – Opt out of anonymised analytics at any time in app settings
- Right to Rectification – Edit or update any stored card data directly within the app
Since all card data is stored locally on your device, you can exercise most of these rights directly within the app without needing to contact us.
Children's Privacy
WonderWallet is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through our app, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to remove such information.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app, legal requirements, or our practices. When we do:
- The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised
- Significant changes will be notified via an in-app message
- Continued use of WonderWallet after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy
We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
